Dillon D. Malone Attorney

Biography

Dillon joined Carney Appleby Law as a law clerk in October 2016. Dillon was born and raised in Dow City, Iowa. In his last semester of high school, Dillon was a page for the Legislative Services Agency for the Iowa Legislature, fostering a strong commitment towards public service and the legal profession. Dillon attended Drake University for both his undergraduate and legal studies. While an undergraduate student, Dillon was involved with the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, serving in multiple leadership positions; the Drake College Republicans; and clerked for Representative Ron Jorgensen in the Iowa House of Representatives.

While in law school, Dillon was a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing program and served on the Drake Law Review, first as a junior staff member then as Editor in Chief. Dillon’s note was published by the Drake Law Review in December 2018. Dillon D. Since his bar admission in September 2018, Dillon maintains a general practice including personal injury, insurance subrogation, general civil litigation, business/transactional law, real estate, and estate planning.
